Joseph's Coat Workshop

by Patricia Yamin

If you have been looking for your next piecing challenge and having fun using your scraps then join Pat in this creative workshop, piecing can be done by hand or by a machine. The convex and concave curves are easy to sew. A hexagonal block is formed using just two pattern pieces which are sewn to create six units, thus making up the hexagon. Using your scraps of light, medium and dark fabrics or as few as three colors of fabric you will create an interlocking pattern. This traditional pattern is a true classic that you will want to add to your quilt collection. Pat will be teaching tips and techniques so your intersections will meet and the blocks will all lay flat.
