Ann Turley, a resident of Fallbrook, made her first quilt in 1991 after sewing and crafting most of her life. Ann is very active in several quilt guilds and has served on the boards of these guilds in various capacities.
Ann has been involved in judging several California county fairs - Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura and San Bernardino - for a few years as well as guild and art shows. She has also been a part of the judging team for the Hoffman Challenge, the Tulare, CA Best of the Valley show, Road to California and many other local events. Ann enjoys judging because it gives her the opportunity to closely examine and learn from the work of others.
Ann enjoys creating original pieces based on sketches, thoughts, travel photographs, words and phrases, and a lot of "what would happen if I...?" The result is a group of works that is quite varied in style and technique.
